If you’re trying to plan a family day out or you’re looking to get some exercise while staying at the Montcalm Shoreditch, there’s nothing better than an afternoon at the London Aquatics Centre. Spend the afternoon splashing around with the kids on the inflatable assault course or practice your favourite stroke in one of the Olympic pools where the world’s best swimmers and divers competed for gold.

Lee Valley VeloPark

Get your helmets on and start peddling your way across some of the world’s best cycling tracks. Whether you prefer a steady ride or an intense session on a BMX, the VeloPark offers cyclists a range of experiences. Step inside the epic velodrome where some of the best cyclists in the world put their speed and stamina to the test and ride in the same tracks as the greats. There are also specially-design courses for mountain biking and BMX riding.

Timber Lodge

After a day of exploration and activity, head over to the gorgeous Timber Lodge for a chance to unwind, enjoy a delicious meal and talk with friends about all the fun you’ve had at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
