Burn’s Night
Burn’s Night is an annual celebration in London that commemorates Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns. Every January 25th music lovers gather at pubs or community halls across the city to recite poetry by Burns or partake in other Scottish traditions like ceilidh dancing or eating haggis. Traditionally ending with bagpipes playing Auld Lang Syne, this cultural event celebrates Burns’ legacy through literature readings, musical performances, and various fun activities like whisky tastings.
