Social Media Executive

Job Overview

You’ll be the social media champion for one of the UK’s leading luxury hotel groups, pushing social as an essential component of the digital marketing mix and maximising its potential in promoting the Montcalm brand. Your mission is to measurably grow our social media presence and optimise campaign efficacy. You’ll not only manage all social media channels to maintain an engaging audience experience and drive audience satisfaction, you’ll also develop innovative social campaigns to induce envy in our competitors and compel action in our audiences. You’ll achieve this by rigorous research and analysis of social trends and data, including social media advertising revenue and web visitor data. In other words, you’ll bring science to social to demonstrate its value in building our brand.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees day to day management of all social media accounts
  • Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
  • Coordinates social media messaging with other marketing campaigns and strategies departments
  • Audits and analyses social media presences, engagement, following, and other trends
  • Creating fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Conceptualise, design and run engaging social media campaigns.
  • Develop social media campaigns and strategies to achieve assigned targets and KPI’s
  • Liaises with social media influencers, agents and related activities
  • Grows partnerships with likeminded luxury consumer brands for joint activities
  • Liaises with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with seasonal promotions, introducing new services
  • Develop guest engagement campaigns and ensures sustained engagement across all social media channels
  • Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces In order to successfully fill this role you must have

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Good understanding of the guest journey
  • Degree in Marketing or Social Media
  • Extensive Knowledge of Social Media Platforms
  • Web Proficiency and Computer Software Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of image editing, lay outing software, artwork creation, video production
  • Advertising, Copywriting, Content Creation, Public Relations and Brand Marketing Experience, Proofreading and Editing Skills
