South West Four
August is an exciting time to visit London because of the various festivals and events held in the city. One such popular dance music festival hosted on every August weekend’s bank holiday is South West Four at Clapham Common. The locals refer to it as SW4 – with the festival showcasing some of the biggest star performers in the electronic music genre on a number of stages.
If you stay in central London at any of the Montcalm chain of hotels, you will have easy access to the location of Clapham Common, where the event takes place. This year the star performers include Armin Van Buuren, Chase & Status, Dizzee Rascal and Marshmello among other notable musicians. The range of music is diverse and includes garage, house, EDM, jungle, drum and bass etc.
After the festival draws to an end the celebrations continue. A steady stream of partygoers carries the party into the streets in the surrounding area, with the party on till the wee hours of the morning.
