One of the UK’s most popular music acts have announced plans to play at the O2 Arena, which is among the best indoor venues on the planet.
The Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed that that they are to appear in London in February 2015, at a show that is sure to be a sellout given their legion of fans.
The band are currently basking in the glory of their number one album, entitled Education, Education, Education & War. It is the first record they have released without drummer Nick Hodgson and marks their return to the centre of the music stage.
And they are already looking forward to the prospect of performing at the O2 Arena, with frontman Ricky Wilson saying: “The last few months have been great, we’re enjoying playing the new album and getting our songs ready for our festival slots and then to top it off – we get to start next year at the 02!”
Meanwhile, bassist Simon Rix commented: “It’s a great time for the Leeds music scene, there’s a lot going on right now. We’re so happy to be able to play the new Arena again, nothing can match the support we get from the Yorkshire crowds.”
But what if that doesn’t sound like your idea of fun? Well, you needn’t worry as there are always loads of great live acts performing at the O2 Arena.
In the coming months, for instance, the likes of Beyonce, Katy Perry and Dolly Parton will all be appearing at the iconic venue.
What’s more, it is also home to a huge number of great bars and restaurants, meaning you can turn it into a really great day out with family and friends.
The O2 is accessed using the Jubilee Line and can easily be reached from the Montcalm Hotel in central London.
