Here are a few of our favourite must-see shows to catch in time for Christmas 2019…

Christmas carol

A Christmas Carol

Old Vic Theatre

Until 18th January 2020

A perennial festive favourite, A Christmas Carol is a new production of the Charles Dickens classic, which has been adapted by playwright Jack Thorne (best known for ‘Harry Potter & the Cursed Child). Having first been performed in 2018, the adaptation is back for another year and sure to be just as popular.

You can catch it at the Old Vic Theatre until the end of January 2020, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy a show while staying at the Montcalm Hotel London.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong

Alexandra Palace

From 13th December 2019 to 5th January 2020

This fantastic London production is the perfect solution for anyone seeking some festive laughs. Alexandra Palace will be hosting the show until early January 2020, and its all been put together by Mischief Theatre.

A fun take on traditional pantomime, there’s plenty of creativity on display here to keep everyone entertained.

Nativity! The Musical

A stage production based on the film of the same name, Nativity! The Musical is perfect for children and families, including a variety of Christmas songs and a plot which focuses on two rival schools, each staging their own Nativity play.

The show is filled with colour and festive good cheer, and can be seen at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith until the end of December 2019.

White Christmas

Dominion Theatre

A stage production of the Bing Crosby classic, White Christmas will be playing at the Dominion Theatre until 4th January 2020. A real West End favourite this festive season, its directed by Nikolai Foster and already debuted in 2018 in Leicester, before transferring to London for 2019.

This is a great option for anyone seeking authentic Christmas entertainment suitable for all ages, and the perfect show to see before enjoying a few drinks while enjoying the view at Aviary London.

Christmas Carol – A Fairy Tale

Wilton’s Music Hall

Using an array of great features such as puppets and the latest in stage production, Wilton’s Music Hall is proudly presenting this new version of A Christmas Carol, complete with a female Scrooge and a number of other surprises which help it stand out from the crowd!

You can see the show until the start of January 2020, leaving plenty of time to experience a seasonal favourite in an original way.

The Snow Queen

Park Theatre

From 4th December 2019 to 4th January 2019

Based on a Hans Christian Anderson story, The Snow Queen is the Park Theatre festive show for 2019, and includes modern touches which help to revitalise the tale for the new millennium.

A traditional play with lots of charm, its a great alternative to some of the flashier productions taking place in the city, and suited to visitors aged 5+ enjoying the latest London hotels special offers.

Richmond Theatre

Until 5th January 2020

Richmond Theatre is a noted venue for London’s pantomime scene, and this year the space will be hosting a new production of Snow White. Comedian Jo Brand has taken on the title role.

Visitors can catch the production until the start of January 2020, and look forward to a traditional take on pantomime traditions sure to charm families and people of all ages.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The London Palladium has long been a treasure trove for lovers of a great British pantomime, and this year proves to be no exception. With a new production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the show will feature pantomime favourites like Julian Clarey and Nigel Havers.
