Dirty Dick’s

A traditional English pub established in 1745, this is the ideal place for those who want to escape from the sleek newness that is generally found in the rest of the Square Mile.

Relax with your favourite tipple and if you fancy a bite to eat, the bar also offers traditional pub favourites like cod and chips, bangers and mash and steak and ale pie.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese

Situated on Fleet Street, this is one of the oldest pubs in the City. It was re-built after the Great Fire in 1666 and the decor both inside and out will take you back in time to a more simple age.

The pub has been a favourite haunt of literary figures throughout its existence, with historic regulars including Mark Twain, Charles Dickens and Samuel Johnson.
